Tantrāloka

Composed in Kashmir in the early eleventh century as Abhinavagupta's magnum opus, the Tantrāloka organizes nondual Śaiva revelation across thirty-seven āhnikas. It draws on the Mālinīvijayottara and a wide Kaula and Trika scriptural base, while folding in Krama and Pratyabhijñā perspectives. The text circulated in Kashmiri Śāradā manuscripts and was printed in the Kashmir Series of Texts and Studies (vols. 23, 28, 30, 35, 36, 41, 47, 52, 57, 58, etc.). Jayaratha's Viveka commentary became the standard guide. The GRETIL e-text encodes the KSTS Sanskrit under Jun Takashima's guidance.
