Paṭhamabandhanasutta
EN“Mendicants, a woman catches a man using eight features. What eight? With weeping, laughing,
PL“Aṭṭhahi, bhikkhave, ākārehi itthī purisaṁ bandhati. Katamehi aṭṭhahi? Ruṇṇena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; hasitena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati;
ENspeaking, appearance, gifts of wildflowers, scents,
PLbhaṇitena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; ākappena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; vanabhaṅgena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; gandhena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati;
ENtastes, and touches. A woman catches a man using these eight features. But those beings who are caught by touch are well and truly caught.”
PLrasena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; phassena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati. Imehi kho, bhikkhave, aṭṭhahākārehi itthī purisaṁ bandhati. Te, bhikkhave, sattā subaddhā, ye phassena baddhā”ti.
