If someone continually repeats this essence of Ārya Aparimitāyus, or is empowered with water blessed by its mantra, their lifespan will be lengthened:

oṁ puṇye puṇye mahāpuṇye aparimitāyuḥ-puṇya-jñāna-saṃbharopacite svāhā.
