ENAt Sāvatthī. “Mendicants, I will teach you about the gods of the thundercloud host. Listen … And what are the gods of the thundercloud host?
PLSāvatthinidānaṁ. “Valāhakakāyike vo, bhikkhave, deve desessāmi. Taṁ suṇātha. Katame ca, bhikkhave, valāhakakāyikā devā?
ENThere are gods of the cool thunderclouds, warm thunderclouds, stormy thunderclouds, windy thunderclouds,
PLSanti, bhikkhave, sītavalāhakā devā; santi uṇhavalāhakā devā; santi abbhavalāhakā devā; santi vātavalāhakā devā;
ENand rainy thunderclouds. These are called gods of the thundercloud host.”
PLsanti vassavalāhakā devā— ime vuccanti, bhikkhave, ‘valāhakakāyikā devā’”ti. Paṭhamaṁ.
